Dr. Petersen is a 1985 University of Minnesota School of Dentistry graduate. He completed a General Practice Residency program at Hennepin County Medical Center the following year, and obtained additional experience in trauma, oral surgery, prosthodontics, hospital dentistry, and treating patients with special needs. The Roseville location was opened in 1990 and Dr. Petersen has enjoyed treating the dental needs of all of the patients at Petersen Family Dental as well as getting to know all of the wonderful people that have been seen in the practice. He strives to continue to expand his skills and services the practice offers in the many hours of continuing education taken each year. Dr. Petersen lives in St. Anthony with his wife, and they have three adult children. In his free time he enjoys running, traveling, hiking, fishing, and spending time with his family at their cabin in Northern Minnesota.
Joan graduated from the University of Minnesota and has been a dental hygienist for 32 years. She loves meeting new patients and catching up with current patients when they come in for their hygiene appointment. She and her husband have 3 wonderful children who are all graduates of the University of Minnesota and all former members of the University of Minnesota's drumline. Joan loves traveling (especially to Norway), running, walking her two dogs, waterskiing, and cheering for the Gophers.
Eiko graduated from Normandale and Minnesota State University, Mankato and has been a dental hygienist for 14 years. She loves connecting and caring for patients of all ages. She and her husband have two small children. Eiko loves traveling, doing house renovations, and spending time outdoors with her kids.
Margie has lived in Coon Rapids for the past 22 years and has 3 grown children. Her daughter is an accountant and lives in Anchorage, Alaska. Her son is a machinist and lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Margie's other son is a letter carrier and is saving for his own home. Margie has been a Dental Assistant for 30+ years. In her spare time she loves gardening flowers and going to museums as well as attending the Institute of Arts.
Becky is a resident of St. Anthony Village and is excited to be working and serving patients in her own community. She has been in the dental field for 25+ years and her favorite thing about it is connecting with all of the patients. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, baking, crafting, and spending time with her family - including her crazy dog Dolly.
